If your light shines blue.. then it's not UV Light! Here's the reason why! |
|||
Have you purchased a UV Leak Detection light based on how much "blue" light you can see? Were you told that the brighter the light, the better your UV leak detection will be? Well, the problem is that UV light is INVISIBLE! That's right... UV light is part of the light spectrum that can NOT be seen with the naked eye. So, the blue light you see from your leak detection light is just that... blue light! Not UV Light! There is a difference between blue or "near" UV light and True UV Light! Now with AIRMAX True UV LED lights you get only UV light. That's important because it's the UV light waves that the dyes reflect back to you as a fluorescent. Blue light may illuminate the area, but it will also "pollute" the area with light. That's right, the blue light is "light pollution". Think about it. When you're using UV dye for leak detection, aren't you looking for the UV dye to stand out? Then use a True UV LED light from AIRMAX.
