For best results with
Keep-it-Kool Advanced A/C System Sealer, follow these instructions:
1) Recover system refrigerant according to local requirements 2) Using Adapter Hose Kit (Part No. AR-4230), attach Union Adapter to Installation Hose and Control Valve assembly and hand tighten. Close control valve (CW). |

FOR R-12 SYSTEMS, attach Quick
Coupler to your LO side service hose. Attach service hose with coupler
to Union Adapter. Attach Installation Hose to LO side service
port of a/c system.
FOR R-134a SYSTEMS, attach LO side of manifold gauge set to Union Adapter. Attach Quick Coupler to Installation Hose and then attach to LO side service port of a/c system. Open Control Valve (CCW) See Step 1 |

Vacuum Test |
||
| Place system into vacuum for at least 5 minutes.
The system should reach deep vacuum of 29.5 in. Hg. within the 5 minutes.
Remove vacuum source and check to see if system will maintain a vacuum above
25 after 5 minutes. Caution: If the system can not reach and maintain
this level of vacuum, the size of leak may be too large for the
Keep-it-Kool A/C System Sealer to repair.
If proceeding with installation of sealer, continue with deep vacuum for 20 minutes or longer. As the active ingredients in the sealer are very sensitive to moisture, the length of time the system remains in deep vacuum could effect your results. Tips and tricks: Place a heat source (trouble light or heat gun) at the bottom of the drier or accumulator to help boil moisture out of the desiccant. If system is extremely contaminated with moisture, drier/accumulator replacement should be done. |

STEP 2 |

Once vacuum is complete, close Control valve (CW)
and remove manifold gauge set. Remove Union Adapter from valve and
connect valve to Keep-it-Kool FORMULA 1000. (Step 2)
VERY IMPORTANT: INVERT CAN (hold upside down; with valve connection at bottom) and open Control Valve (CCW) allowing sealer Formula 1000 to drain into system. Close valve (CW) and remove can. VERY IMPORTANT: Immediately after, attach valve to FORMULA 2000, INVERT CAN (hold upside down; with valve connection at bottom) and open Control Valve (CCW). Allow for proper drainage into system. Close Control Valve (CW) and remove can. |
|
STEP 3 |
||

Attach union to Control Valve of
installation hose, attach manifold gauge set to union. VERY IMPORTANT:
open valve (CCW) and continue with refrigerant charge through Installation
Hose. Note: Re-Install Quick Coupler where first used in Step 1. (See
Step 3)
After recharging a/c system, run system for at least 15 minutes to circulate Keep-it-Kool A/C System Sealer. Youre done! CW= clockwise CCW= counter clockwise |
